Every variety of lavender has a unique aromatic profile, shaped by its genetics, growing conditions, and the art of distillation. From soft and floral to bold and herbaceous, each cultivar tells its own aromatic story in scent, sensation, and purpose.
Different lavender cultivars express their own balance of floral, herbal, and camphorous notes. This is why one oil feels gentle and powdery while another smells crisp, green, or intensely herbaceous.
Compounds like linalool, linalyl acetate, camphor, and cineole occur in different ratios in each variety. These natural differences influence both aroma and how the oil feels in use — from calming and soothing to bright and invigorating.
